Meet Norwich was set up in March 2008 to provide local people the freedom to experience Norwich (UK) together in great company.
The purpose of Meet Norwich is to provide its Members with an Events driven Website, offering the opportunity to make new friends & a variety of places to go!
Meet Norwich has a good balance of Members from a variety of backgrounds.
With no set age limit, Meet Norwich generally attracts people over 40 who like to Meet, Socialise, & Enjoy themselves.
Each month we aim to arrange a variety of different Events, ranging from meals out, dances, pub nights & live comedy to local live bands, walks, theatre, movies, bowling, quiz nights & many more!
New members are always welcome & generally a Host's name & mobile number are provided for Events. When you come along you generally have the option to call/text the Host who will happily introduce you to other Members.
Meet Norwich offers "FREE" Membership & is run by the Members for the Members.
We encourage Members to arrange regular & last minute Events, helping to add Event variety.
Groups appear within the Website such as Walks, Golf Partners, Drawing, Photography, Cycle Riders & more. All Members are welcome to join these & are notified whenever Events are posted by their fellow Members.
All Members have their own "My Page" which can be personalised. It's also possible to add a few photos, background details & leisure activities to this space.
Members have the opportunity to send messages (once they become friends with each other), comment on Events - past & present, use the Blog Post, Forum & Live Chat at the bottom of the Home Page.
Website Tips appear on the Home Page to help Members use our Website more easily!

I was made redundant in July 17 and despite trying hard to find work it seems that nothing is out there; therefore instead of dithering about, I decided to quit work and retire. I am not attending any meals out atm as living on savings, but hopefully soon I can meet up with you all again soon
