MEET NORWICH - A LOCAL SOCIAL GROUP AIMED AT AGES 40+

Meet Norwich will be closing this Website on the 30 June 2019.

Thank you to all Members for their support,  great ideas & every success with their new "MeetUp" Site - David (Group Admin).

ALL MEMBERSHIP DATA WILL BE DELETED ON CLOSURE OF THIS WEBSITE.

Meet Norwich was set up in March 2008 to provide local people the freedom to experience Norwich (UK) together in great company.

The purpose of Meet Norwich is to provide its Members with an Events driven Website, offering the opportunity to make new friends & a variety of places to go!

Meet Norwich has a good balance of Members from a variety of backgrounds.

With no set age limit, Meet Norwich generally attracts people over 40 who like to Meet, Socialise, & Enjoy themselves.

Each month we aim to arrange a variety of different Events, ranging from meals out, dances, pub nights & live comedy to local live bands, walks, theatre, movies, bowling, quiz nights & many more!

New members are always welcome & generally a Host's name & mobile number are provided for Events. When you come along you generally have the option to call/text the Host who will happily introduce you to other Members.

Meet Norwich offers "FREE" Membership & is run by the Members for the Members.  Meet Norwich holds specific Events during the year which Members are encouraged to support as these generate the income to fund the Website & avoids the need for an Annual Membership Fee.

We encourage Members to arrange regular & last minute Events, helping to add Event variety.

Groups appear within the Website such as Walks, Golf Partners, Drawing, Photography, Cycle Riders & more.  All Members are welcome to join these & are notified whenever Events are posted by their fellow Members.

All Members have their own "My Page" where they can add a few photos, background details & leisure activities to this space.

Members have the opportunity to send messages (once they become friends with each other), comment on Events - past & present, use the Blog Post (to add everyday useful comments & ideas) & the Forum (an area for Newcomers & Adding Event advice)

Website Tips & Newcomer Notes appear on the Home Page to help Members use our Website more easily!

Email us on: info@meetnorwich.co.uk

The walk will be relatively brisk, around 3 miles per hour, with a couple of stops, including a lunch stop for those bringing packed lunches. It is best to wear sensible walking gear and footwear, as some paths will be uneven and…See More
